Following your delivery, we provide postpartum exams for women who have had vaginal births and postoperative care for women who have undergone a cesarean section procedure. The requirement for each of these situations is different, and our doctors can provide the targeted and personal treatment you need and deserve after you give birth. Women who have delivered vaginally should call our office within a week of birth to schedule a 6-week checkup. Women who have had a cesarean delivery should call as quickly as possible to schedule an appointment to check their incision 1 week after delivery, as well as a 6-week postpartum check-up.
