Does Capital Women’s Care offer services for pregnant women?
We do, yes! If you’re expecting, then we can provide both prenatal and postnatal care here at our clinic.
For prenatal services, we can provide state-of-the-art ultrasounds to help you and our professionals monitor your baby’s development. We also provide and recommend genetic testing, although this is an elective service. We offer carrier screens to detect inherited diseases, nuchal translucency scans, cell-free DNA testing, and second trimester blood screens. For higher-risk pregnancies, we can provide chorionic villus sampling or other services.
Our clinic is also a safe, quiet birthing center for any of our patients wanting to birth their baby here. The first day you come to visit us, we will do our absolute best to reassure you that we are an excellent, trustworthy place to birth your child.
We also offer postnatal services as well here at our clinic. This includes postpartum exams, as well as any necessary postoperative exams for mothers who delivered by cesarean section. Generally, new mothers should seek the assistance of an OBGYN for up to 6 weeks after delivery, but this can change depending on your needs.
